WHS-B-H1001

  • Maximum relative humidity rating of 40%
  • Fast, reliable visual humidity indicator
  • Protects moisture-sensitive devices during storage and transport
  • Cobalt-free design

The Humidity Indicator Card (HIC) is a simple, reliable tool for visually monitoring relative humidity (RH) levels inside sealed packaging. Each card contains chemically treated indicator spots that change color as humidity rises, providing an immediate, easy-to-read confirmation of moisture exposure.

Commonly used across the semiconductor industry, HICs are placed inside Moisture Barrier Bags (MBB) with sensitive devices such as wafers, ICs, MEMS, and reticles. Once sealed, the card offers continuous, at-a-glance insight into the package’s internal environment.

If humidity exceeds key thresholds (10%, 20%, 30%, or 40% RH), the indicator spots shift color, alerting users that the contents may need inspection or re-drying to maintain product integrity.
